Today we spent some time going over adjectives again. If you're looking for the answers to the worksheet questions we DIDN'T do in class, look under "handouts" over on the right! The adjective quiz is next class.

We went over your preliminary work for the Phase Autobiography and you made sure you are happy with your topic. If you aren't, you'll need to repeat the steps with your new topic. Remember to keep ALL PRELIMINARY WORK to turn in!

Today we started talking about Narrative Writing. Here's Bill Cosby telling a nice story:

Your assignment was to write a story about something interesting that has happened to you on your blog. Yes, it must be true! Make sure it's about a specific event--that it has a point. That it's a story...not about a huge, long, trip with no point. Google "narrative writing ideas" for some ideas if you can't think of any!

We did some work on foreshadowing and suspense with "Cask of Amontillado."
