Periods C, D
Today we went over the Active Reading test.
Then we finished reading "The Necklace" (period C) and discussed what characterization is in a short story or other literary work. We also talked about the difference between indirect and direct characterization. Then we worked on indirectly characterizing the two characters in "The Necklace." The handouts from today are in the classroom.
