Periods C & D
I pushed the Active Reading test back to next class. We completed a unit wrap-up (the handout is in the handouts folder--make sure you do one) that included questions for you to reflect upon.
Then we started the Short Story unit. You took notes from a Power Point (I put a copy in the handouts folder, over on the right). Period D was able to start reading the story "The Necklace" by Guy de Maupassant --we'll finish it during the next class, after the test.
